Backpacker hostels advertise “share driving” opportunities on their public notice boards, which is a great way to save money! The notice boards generally advertise to share fuel and fun to the common spots in Australia.

But before getting on the road make sure you have met these guys at least once before, just to avoid trouble! (You don’t wanna travel to a beautiful spot spending the whole time with an idiot.)

If you share the driving, you will need to make sure all drivers are indicated on the car owners insurance policy, otherwise the insurance protection expires!
